My family and I went to Istanbul last October. If you haven't been, you simply MUST.
So when Paul picked "Turkey Coffe Lady" today I was pretty exited.
Much to my delight they even had simit, a street food that my mom loves because it makes her feel like she is part of her fabulous Turkish shows.
Paul just got to the DMV a little over a year ago and he is at that amazing part of life where you are struggling with following your passion? Or doing what is safe.
Here is my advice, if you are single, no kids and pay all your own bills... GO FOR IT!
If it doesn't work, no one suffers but you. Plus you will never have to live the life of longing for the thing you "almost" did.
Now, if you are NOT single, have people who depend on you, or parents who pay for you... ASK THEM.
You are going to need them to support you in many ways, they deserve a vote.
I am excited to have met Paul and I am even more excited to see what adventures he gets into in the next few years.
Location: Turkish Coffe Lady
Drink: Sweet Aegean
Rating: 11/10 - I am a sissy coffee drinker, but the experience was AWE-SOME
Wisdom: Often times when someone disagrees with you it is NOT out of malice. We can have different views and still love each other.
Love,
